Provides technical expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of St. Alexius Medical Center
Responsibilities
Assure safety of patients and staff in the MRI environment
Screens patient for contraindications and positions patient for procedures by established MRI protocols.
Properly explains procedure to each patient
Perform high quality MRI exams
Performs Quality Assurance checks on equipment.
Injects Contrast medial under supervision of a physician
Assists in maintaining clean room and supply inventory
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology or Magnetic Resonance
Certification: Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.
Licensure: Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, ND Radiology Tech License
Experience: Preference for one year clinical experience in MRI

MRI skills obtained in approved School of Radiologic / MRI Technology
Pay Range
$30.55 - $44.30 /hour
