Responsibilities
We offer nationally renowned cancer experts who deliver state-of-the-art care and exceptional outcomes. We lead the way in the Puget Sound region in providing seamless, team-based cancer care that is centered around each person. This position will support the pancreatic patient population, and GYN Oncology. With a relentless approach to individualized cancer care and a commitment to constant research and innovation, our five-year survival rates exceed national averages at every stage.
The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse includes:
Coordinating and facilitating quality management of a broad based outpatient population across the continuum of care.
Providing skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources
Suports GYN Oncology
Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care.
Providing patient advice
Assisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinic
Providing direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant's clinical competency.
Qualifications
Current Washington State licensure as an RN
CPR certification is required every two years
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting
Current working knowledge of electronic medical records
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
