Responsibilities: - The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services -Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. - Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab is part of Virginia Mason's Cardiovascular Imaging and Intervention Center. This facility utilizes the most recent technology available, providing the latest in adult cardiac diagnostic and interventional services.

Some of the conditions we treat include:

  • Balloon angioplasty.

  • Structural Heart Intervention

  • IABP and Impella procedures

  • Coronary and left ventricular digital angiography.

  • Coronary intravascular ultrasound.

  • Right and left heart catheterization.

  • Rotational atherectomy.

  • Stent implantation.

Qualifications

  • Current WA State RN license.

  • Cardiac cath lab or other procedural care unit is strongly preferred.

  • BLS certification is required every two years.

  • Specialty certification including CCRN, RCIS preferred.

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing. ACLS is required within 60 days of hire.

Please note: This position requires on call.

This position would require Cath Lab and Structural Heart experience (Cath + EP RN experience preferred to also be able to support EP).

Pay Range

$43.99 - $63.9 /hour
