Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the registered Nurse, performs general tasks of patient care and tasks specific to Telemetry Care in accordance with Dominican Hospital policies and procedures. Delivers care to the Telemetry Care patient including adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
Minimum
Two (2) years patient care experience
Computer literate in order entry
Finger stick blood glucose
Medical terminology
Completion of a formal Nurse Assistant program or equivalent (EMT; Nursing School student)
Current BLS certification
Preferred:
- Current Certified Nurse Assistant certification, preferred (EMT certification, or proof of enrollment in an LVN or RN training program may be substituted for this)
Pay Range
$50.48 - $50.48 /hour
