Responsibilities

Provides spiritual care and emotional support to patients their families and staff.

3 years of pastoral experience preferred. Current certification for chaplaincy by the APC NACC preferred. 4 units of Clinical Pastor. M.Div. Degree or equivalent graduate theological educational Education accredited by the ACPE

Qualifications

3 years of pastoral experience preferred Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training. Ability to provide spiritual care that respects diversity and differences including culture gender sexual orientation and spiritual/religious practices. Professional knowledge of belief systems and the behavioral sciences spiritual assessment bioethics and boundaries as related to the practice of pastoral care. Computer skills for word processing electronic charting and use of information systems. Priestly faculties authorized by Archdiocese of San Francisco. Current certification for chaplaincy by the NACC preferred.

Pay Range

$34.50 - $49.18 /hour
