Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing initial and on-going collection and re-assessment of data focusing on biophysical, psychological, environmental, self-care education and discharge preparedness; developing, implementing and evaluating the care of assigned patients in surgery; practicing effective problem identification and resolution using clinical knowledge base and sound decision making skills; performing scrub and/or circulating duties; applying Dignity Health core values to the performance of every job duty. - these Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • In the past three (3) years, one (1) year of clinical experience in an Operating Room setting in an acute care hospital required.

  • Graduation from an accredited program of professional nursing.

  • Successful completion of a post-graduate perioperative training program.

  • Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse. (RN) Current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support for healthcare providers (CT CPRBLS)

Preferred:

  • Cardiovascular surgery experience within the past five (5) years preferred.

  • BSN preferred.

Pay Range

$82.51 - $107.19 /hour
