Under direct supervision the incumbent is responsible for assisting other disciplines in various areas of the program and based upon assignment with implementing the care plan of each participant, the food program for the California Department of Education/Child and Adult Food Program. The incumbent, if assigned to the Driver position, will be responsible for the safe operation of the Center's vehicles and the safe and professional transportation of clients. Will work with and receive daily assignments from the Activity Coordinator. Based upon assignment the position reports to either the RN Supervisor or the Social Work Supervisor.
1 year recent work experience with public
High school diploma or equivalent work experience in lieu of diploma
Must demonstrate an appreciation for the elderly and disabled persons and be able to effectively communicate with all personality types
Ability to work with both agencies and individuals.
Must have appreciation of and excitement for working with frail, elderly and handicapped adults
Valid current Class B passenger endorsement California Driver's license and a clean DMV record if performing the Driver position
