Dignity Health Nursing Supervisor of Oncology Clinics in Redding, California
Overview
For more than 70 years Mercy Medical Center Redding has offered comprehensive health care in the North State providing acute care and a full range of medical services. The 267-bed hospital offers major medical services including a Level II Trauma Center as well as specialized Cardiovascular Care Stroke Care Orthopedics Neurological Surgery Comprehensive Cancer Care Maternity Care and da Vinci Robotic Surgery. It is the sole provider of obstetrical services along with the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Shasta County. In addition the hospital’s network of care includes Mercy Home Health and Hospice and Dignity Health Connected Living. Mercy Medical Center Redding is a member of the Dignity Health system and is a sister facility to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff and Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta. Responsibilities
The incumbent is accountable for coordinating the overall operation of the clinic to ensure that the optimal schedules staffing levels and payroll outcomes are in effect and are based upon census acuity and budget. Incumbent is also responsible for ensuring sound financial oversight of operations. The incumbent incorporates differences into the provision of care and integrates knowledge skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families with an awareness of cost containment and time management. In addition the incumbent trains evaluates and supervises staff in carrying out clinic policies and procedures. Incumbent is also responsible for other management related functions

Qualifications
Minimum
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Five years recent outpatient or hospital nursing practice experience required
CT ONS - CT CPRBLS;RN
Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required
Bachelor’s Degree - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Preferred
MBA or Masters degree preferred
Management experience preferred
Pay Range
$54.89 - $71.81 /hour
