Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The incumbent performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the direction of the Cardiologist qualified in Diagnostic Ultrasound according to department protocol. The incumbent performs echocardiograms including but not limited to Saline Contrast studies, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and Stress Echocardiograms.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years experience performing echocardiograms, including Transesophageal and Stress on all patient populations including infants in an acute care hospital required
Registered or registry eligible for the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers and an AS degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program required
Current RDMS or RDMS eligibility required
Current BLS CPR Certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Syngo Dynamics software preferred
Pay Range
$64.15 - $76.60 /hour
