As a Charge Nurse at Dignity Health Yavapai regional Medical Center, you'll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in CVICU adds tremendous value to our nursing team.

Responsibilities

  • Mentors others in areas such as competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, National Patient Safety Goals, and participation in inservice education.

  • Coaches to improve careProvides direct patient care as appropriate to meet the needs of the patients and department.

  • Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel.

  • Coordinates patient flow on the unit to facilitate the provision of timely and effective care

  • Demonstrates appropriate prioritization and critical thinking skills in critical situations

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or charge nurse experience

  • AZ RN license

  • AHA BLS and ACLS

  • ADN or foreign equivalent.

  • Skilled Working Knowledge of the EMR and hospital systems.

Preferred:

  • CVICU experience or Critical Care Charge Nurse

  • BSN

  • Certification in Specialty

Pay Range

$42.85 - $63.77 /hour
