Responsibilities

Responsible for providing nursing care for patients in accordance with established policies operating practices guidelines and national standards of care to foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families

Qualifications

Minimum

  • One year acute care Registered Nurse experience

  • Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent

  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

  • Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.

Preferred

  • Bachelor degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent

  • Two years of medical/surgical or one year of critical care experience

  • 12-lead EKG skills; Knowledge of cardiac monitoring systems

  • Electronic Medical record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner experience strongly preferred

Pay Range

$41.62 - $43.70 /hour
