Responsibilities
Responsible for providing nursing care for patients in accordance with established policies operating practices guidelines and national standards of care to foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families
Qualifications
Minimum
One year acute care Registered Nurse experience
Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
Preferred
Bachelor degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
Two years of medical/surgical or one year of critical care experience
12-lead EKG skills; Knowledge of cardiac monitoring systems
Electronic Medical record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner experience strongly preferred
Pay Range
$41.62 - $43.70 /hour
