Responsibilities

Provides patient care including evaluating patient for treatment, developing plan of care, establishing goals, and assessing progress toward the attainment of goals. Consults with other health care disciplines to co-ordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patient. Instructs patients and care givers in home programs for exercises and functional activities. Serves as a resource by sharing expertise and knowledge. Performs patient clinical care. Qualifications

Minimum :

  • Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting required.

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech/Language Pathology program required.

  • Computer skills required. Must be licensed as a Speech/Language Pathologist in the State of Arizona.

  • Current BLS through the American Heart Association required.

Preferred :

  • 2 years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care preferred.

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area preferred.

  • Prior use of electronic health record preferred.

Pay Range

$40.66 - $58.96 /hour
