Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose

The Compensation Analyst assists in the analysis and administration of CommonSpirit Health compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. They evaluate jobs, complete market pricing, recommend pay grades, complete compensation surveys, and perform associated analysis. The Compensation Analyst assists in ensuring compensation related programs and practices are competitive and equitable and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provides analytic support for CSH compensation program management and implementation, including but not limited to: base pay administration, annual salary increase processes, variable pay program administration, special pay practices and ad-hoc compensation projects. Supports and/or delivers education and communication of compensation programs.

  • Completes salary surveys, analyzes salary survey results, and supports salary structure creation. Reviews requests for new or revised jobs, conducts job evaluations, recommends FLSA status, and provides salary recommendations to ensure internal equity and market alignment.

  • Prepares regular and ad-hoc reports regarding market compensation data, special pay practices and internal company compensation information. Participates in special projects as assigned.

  • Supports continuous improvement of processes and technology which impacts compensation programs. Works collaboratively with other HR COE’s and CSH colleagues. Ensures accuracy of compensation-related data that is maintained within company information systems and databases.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree. Two (2) years of compensation or human resources experience.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

Demonstrated technical proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet and HR Technology applications using quantitative analysis, charting, pivot tables and formulas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in presentation and education skills to include delivery and communications as well as technical software.

Pay Range

$27.77 - $40.27 /hour
