Responsibilities

Position Summary:

As our Manager of Philanthropy Special Events you will spearhead plans to achieve special event fundraising goals as set by our Foundation leadership. In this position you will manage the special events office and oversee volunteers on day-to-day procedures, as well as the maintenance of mailing lists for solicitations, invitations and other mailings.

You will manage services provided by outside vendors toward the completion of all publications for event execution (brochures, invitations, signage), coordinate with Foundation leadership for on-site logistics, seating, and event goals, and supervise and coordinate staff and volunteers throughout the event in areas of registration, invoicing, and all computer operations.

You will also be responsible for final accounting and financial reporting of event income, updating our data base with all event and attendee activity,

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.

  • Minimum (3) years working in a fundraising environment with extensive computer knowledge, experience in donor records, and Blackbaud experience required.

Pay Range

$36.96 - $53.60 /hour
