Responsibilities

We are excited to introduce our newly created Regional Market Float position for Respiratory Therapy. Work in your area of expertise, float to at least 3 of our 5 Omaha Metro locations, and earn 25% hourly differential! Facility selection and shift preference is available first come, first serve. Regional Float locations include the following CHI Health facilities:

  • Creighton University Medical Center, Bergan Mercy

  • Immanuel Hospital

  • Lakeside Hospital

  • Mercy Hospital - Council Bluffs, IA

  • Midlands Hospital - Papillion

This new Regional Float position allows us to expedite our responsiveness to our facilities with the greatest staffing needs by deploying qualified clinicians who know our policies, procedures and core values. Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate of the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy

  • Make recommendations for changes in specific modes of therapy

  • Educates patients and arranges home respiratory care services and patient therapy follow-up assessments

  • Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth

  • Maintains established department policies, procedures and objectives

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Respiratory program

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensing from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 1 year upon hire

  • Active license in the state of Nebraska as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

  • 12-18 months RT experience

Pay Range

$22.89 - $33.20 /hour
