Responsibilities
$20,000 Sign on Bonus

3- 12 hour shifts. No call and no weekends
CHI Health-CUMC Bergan is currently seeking a Phase II Registered Nurse (RN) to join our perioperative team. The Phase II RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients during the immediate postoperative period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing and possess excellent clinical skills. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about patient care and seeks to make a positive impact in the healthcare field.
Responsibilities:
Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Phase II recovery area.
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, pain levels, and overall postoperative condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on postoperative care instructions and answer any questions or concerns.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an RN nursing program.
One year of RN experience required.
Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
Basic life support is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Heart Association: Basic Life Support.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.
Knowledge of current nursing practice, critical thinking skills, professional verbal and written communication skills, technical/computer skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, adaptability, maintain confidentiality.

$33.50 - $48.58 /hour
