Overview
At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy our focus is patient-centered care. Our level I trauma center and academic medical center campus is designed to heal the body mind and spirit of every person in a more comfortable less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services heart and vascular care emergency services surgery maternity cancer care and diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
Evening shift: 1pm-9:30pm - flexible
Performs duties according to department specific expectations as identified and assigned.
Orders, restocks, and outdates anesthesia department supplies in a work environment that is conducive to an orderly and efficient work flow.
Maintains equipment, cleans & restocks anesthesia machines and carts daily, coordinates preventive maintenance and the assessment of malfunctioning equipment by the Biomed department and takes actions required for repair or replacement.
Serves as a communication liaison between the surgery desk and the anesthesia department.
Follows established charge procedures for patient supplies and demonstrates a cost-effective awareness by careful, efficient, and non-wasteful use of supplies and linens.
Qualifications
Preferred:
High School diploma or its equivalent.
One (1) year of experience in the hospital environment and Surgery experience.
Knowledge of anesthesia supplies and equipment, medical and surgical asepsis and infection control principles.
Surgical Technologist or LPN.
Pay Range
$15.49 - $21.30 /hour
