Radiology Tech - Computed Tomographic Scanner

Northridge Hospital Medical Center

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality of patient images while maintaining safety standards. This position involves working closely with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans

  • Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images while adhering to safety protocols

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and safety

  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to review and analyze imaging results

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures

  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns during procedures

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital and radiology department required.

  • Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.

  • Cross - training in CT MRI Nuclear Medicine and Mammography required.

  • License is required as issued by ARRT (national)

  • CRT (state)

  • Fluoroscopy certification.

  • Certification in one modality required.

  • Must maintain Fire Safety card.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.

Pay Range

$53.79- $63.37 /hour
