Laboratory Technical Coordinator - Clinical Laboratory Services

Northridge Hospital Medical Center

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Laboratory Technical Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support to laboratory staff.

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.

  • Ordering and managing laboratory supplies.

  • Preparing and maintaining laboratory documentation.

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures.

  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the efficient flow of work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical or biological science as defined by CLIA.

  • 2 years clinical lab experience in the designed lab area/specialty

  • Skilled multi-tasker, clear communicator, and active listener who knows the right questions to in order to understand the teams’ needs.

  • Medical Tech License or CLS License required.

  • Fire Safety Card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date).

Pay Range

$46.76 - $67.80 /hour
