Catholic Health Initiatives Security Supervisor in Little Rock, Arkansas
Overview
As our Supervisor of Security at CHI St Vincent, you will assist our Director of Security with the effective day-to-day security operations of our hospital. Your team is responsible for the safety and security of our staff, patients, and guests and you understand that safety is essential to healing.
Every day you will monitor the property by walking and driving around the premises.
Your security detail could include guarding facility and unit access points, monitoring surveillance cameras, testing new security technology, and protecting all employees/visitors against acts of violence should they arise.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need the ability to remain calm and take action based on the situation, known facts, and understand the position limitations. You are also expected to respond to emergency codes in a timely manner. Previous experience in security/patrol in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day operations of the security function to include the protection of physical assets and securing the facility.
Assists with hiring and training of new security officers and lead positions.
Develops and maintains security plans and procedures.
Protect staff, patients, and visitors by responding to calls for assistance in a timely manner.
Patrol the facility and grounds by foot or vehicle, monitor security alarms and dispatch officers promptly to locations where needed.
Observe and report suspicious activities or behavior.
Report and document all accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety/ fire hazards and other security related situations.
Investigate security breaches and conduct follow-up investigations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Criminal Justice or Related Field, OR 3 or more years of healthcare security/law enforcement experience
Commissioned Security Officer required
Current Arkansas Driver’s License with clean driving record
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment

Pay Range
$22.89 - $33.20 /hour
