Catholic Health Initiatives Advance Practice Provider Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery - Lincoln, NE in Lincoln, Nebraska

Seeking Advance Practice Provider - PA-C for Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery to work with our CHI Health Heart Institute in Lincoln, NE

This is a full-time opportunity. Enjoy working with both Cardiothoracic Surgeons and Vascular Surgeons in our CHI Health Nebraska Heart and St. Elizabeth hospitals

Preferred candidates with experience in Endo-vein harvest and the OR environment

  • Schedule includes over 1:4 night call as well as 1:4 weekend call.

  • The surgical PA-C is responsible for assisting in the OR (including vein harvesting) and cath lab

  • Rounding on pre and post surgical patients at the Heart Hospital and St. Elizabeth

  • Inpatient and outpatient consults at the 2 hospitals,

  • Wound clinic at outreach and St. Elizabeth,

  • Outreach and clinic 4 times a month in Grand Island

  • On call and required to come in during the night for emergent cases or consults

CHI Health St. Elizabeth is a 260 bed level III trauma center that provides treatment for newborns, pediatrics, women's health, cardiology, orthopaedics, oncology and burn and wound care to name a few.
