Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The registered nurse employs critical thinking to integrate objective data with knowledge gained from an assessment of the subjective experiences of patients. Registered nurses use this critical thinking process to apply the best available evidence and research data to the processes of diagnosis and treatment. Nurses continually evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and seek to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications
Minimum:
One (1) year experience as an RN in an acute care setting or successful completion of applicable clinical and didactic SRDH specialty training course(s) or program.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
RN = Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support – AHA
ONS Chemo Cert within 6 months of hire.
NIHSS = NIH Stroke-AM Stroke ASC-Nat'l - Training upon hire/transfer.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Preferred:
One (1) year acute care experience preferably with an oncology focus.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Certification in Specialty Area
Pay Range
$43.35 - $59.63 /hour
