Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of physical therapy patients at the hospital and satellite clinics toward care plan goals. As assigned by the Manager/Director of Rehabilitation Services they provide supervision of staff.

  • This person must implement the spirit and philosophy of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and will ensure that the rights of the patient and/or family are safeguarded (by observation and documentation).

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Entry level accepted.

  • Completed all accredited education requirements to be in possession of a valid license in good standing enabling them to practice as an Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada.

  • Ability to communicate effectively utilizing computer verbally and in writing in English.

  • Ability to perform basic functions of Microsoft Office.

  • LIC PT = Licensed Physical Therapist in State of NV.

  • CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of hospital based acute care practice.

  • Completed post graduate education or possesses certification or CEUs in Acute care geriatrics wound care orthopaedics pediatrics NICU & neurology or any other clinically relevant coursework/seminars.

  • Advanced experience with computer software programs and clinical documentation in Hospital based practice.

  • Multi-lingual Spanish Tagalog.

Pay Range

$42.69 - $61.91 /hour
