Responsibilities

Critical Care at St. Francis includes a 14-bed medical/surgical intensive care unit and a 16-bed progressive care unit. In the ICU, we take care of patients who’ve experienced cardiac arrest, hypothermia and sepsis. In the PCU, we have a varied medical/surgical population of cardiac, vascular, pulmonary, bariatric and sepsis patients. Our ICU registered nurses provide primary care and we have an RN to patient ratio of 2:1. The PCU has an RN to patient ratio of 4:1.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

  • One year of related work experience is preferred

  • Current WA state Licensure as a Registered Nurse

  • Current CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), CSC (Cardiac Surgery) Certification preferred

  • American Heart Association Healthcare Basic Life Support certification required

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or attainment within six months of hire

Pay Range

$42.69 - $72.13 /hour
