As the Vice President of Enterprise Learning, Culture & Experience at CommonSpirit Health, you will serve as a strategic leader driving the organization's learning philosophy, culture initiatives, and employee experience strategies. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Talent, Learning & Capabilities, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's culture, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a learning-centric environment that supports organizational growth and transformation.

Responsibilities

Learning Leadership:

  • Define and articulate the organization's learning philosophy and strategy, aligning with the company's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive learning platform and ecosystem that supports continuous learning and development for all employees.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance leader, manager, and supervisor capabilities, fostering a culture of coaching, feedback, and performance excellence.

  • Collaborate with clinical and regulatory/compliance teams to design and deliver specialized development programs tailored to healthcare professionals' unique needs.

  • Champion workforce development initiatives, including career exploration, career pathways, internal mobility programs, and educational partnerships.

  • Oversee the design, development, and facilitation of enterprise-wide learning programs and content to address critical skill gaps and business needs.

  • Evaluate emerging learning technologies and tools to enhance learning effectiveness, accessibility, and scalability across the organization.

Employee Experience Leadership :

  • Develop and promote the organization's Employee Value Proposition (EVP), ensuring alignment with organizational values, employer brand, and employee needs.

  • Establish and oversee an integrated employee listening and feedback strategy, leveraging various channels and platforms to gather insights and drive continuous improvement.

  • Lead initiatives to activate and reinforce organizational culture, including new employee orientations, recognition programs, and initiatives to strengthen employee engagement.

  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to embed cultural initiatives into daily practices and processes, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to promote diversity and cultural transformation efforts.

  • Monitor and measure the impact of culture and experience initiatives, using data analytics and feedback mechanisms to inform strategy and drive meaningful change.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership in the areas of learning, culture, and employee experience, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate learning, culture, and experience strategies into broader business initiatives and transformation efforts.

  • Lead change management efforts related to learning and culture transformation, driving organizational change and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, HR partners, and external vendors/partners, to drive alignment and support for learning and culture initiatives.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning, culture, and employee experience, applying insights to enhance organizational strategies and practices.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, organizational culture, employee experience, or related leadership roles within large, complex organizations.

Required Licensure and Certifications:

  • Certification in learning and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) or related fields is a plus.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training:

  • Demonstrated track record of strategic leadership, with experience leading enterprise-wide learning, culture, and employee experience initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of learning theory, instructional design, adult learning methodologies, and culture change management principles.

  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to drive cultural transformation and change management efforts, with a focus on fostering an inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable strategies and initiatives that drive business results and support organizational growth and transformation.

  • Experience with learning technologies, employee feedback mechanisms, and data analytics tools, with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance learning effectiveness and employee engagement.

  • Passion for driving innovation, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence in the areas of learning, culture, and employee experience.

Position is eligible for incentive pay based on company performance.

Pay Range

$92.88 - $130.04 /hour
