CommonSpirit Health IT Associate Network Engineer in Englewood, Colorado

Responsibilities

  • Provides basic network engineering support on the use of existing methods and tools. Configures methods and tools within a known context. Creates and updates the documentation of methods and tools.

  • Exercises judgment within well-defined procedures to solve moderately complex problems with a limited number of variables.

  • Has a solid foundation of knowledge and skill sets for supported platforms/products and environments.

  • Focuses primarily on maintenance and support of existing technologies.

  • Has limited project assignments that are small in scope and low in complexity.

  • Provides exceptional customer service to CommonSpirit end users, Business Stakeholders and other members of CommonSpirit ITD.

  • Perform daily production support activities.

  • Participate in team on-call rotations.

  • Perform patching and code deployments across all environments.

  • Participate in minor projects associated with the enhancement, upgrade/patching, or implementation of new or existing technology solutions.

  • Participates in support efforts between Enterprise IT Operations and other CommonSpirit Health support teams.

  • Initiate change management requests and adhere to the CommonSpirit Health IT CM process.

  • Interprets, executes and records test cases in accordance with project test plans. Identifies and reports issues and risks. Analyses and reports test activities and results.

  • Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities. Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken.

  • Perform source code/versioning management function adhering to technical management guidelines.

  • Participate in the resolution of technical issues within the Technology Infrastructure Team.

  • Maintain a comprehensive monitoring and alerting process across all IT platforms.

  • Remote eligible.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Technology, or Business discipline or equivalent experience is required.

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in an IT technical or infrastructure field is preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience with Cisco Route Switch and Wireless infrastructure or equivalent training is preferred.

  • Basic understanding and experience with WAN protocols and topology:MPLSQoSBGPMetro Optical EthernetMultiPoint MOE

Pay Range

$32.08 - $46.51 /hour
