Overview

Echo Technologist Lead

As our Echo Tech Lead at CHI St. Joseph, you will help the Cardiologist by applying extensive knowledge of adult and neonate ultrasonography imaging techniques so we can successfully diagnose and treat the patient's condition.

Every day you will lead and coordinate the operation of echocardiography equipment, providing expertise and guidance to the echo staff. You will be expected to perform preliminary diagnostic reports, ensuring accurate and high-quality interpretations of tracings from Echo Technicians.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate extensive knowledge of ultrasonography imaging techniques, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize innovative customer service techniques to ensure a positive patient care experience for both the patient and their family.

  • Act professionally in all interactions, fostering a working environment that prioritizes the patient experience.

  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information about procedures and offering reassurance throughout the process.

  • Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with all staff members and Cardiologist to promote a harmonious working environment.

  • Coordinate and participate in the operation of echocardiography equipment, providing preliminary diagnostic reports to physicians and ensuring accurate and high-quality interpretations of tracings from Echocardiography Technicians.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience Education:

  • Associates Degree.

  • Two (2) years echo experience.

Required Licensure and Certifications:

  • Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Sonographer.

Pay Range

$29.02 - $42.08 /hour
