Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care. Actively participates as a team member in the systems functions and activities of the unit/department
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High school education
Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program
Current Certified Nurse Assistant certification (CT NA)
CPR certification (CT CPRBLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six (6) months recent hospital experience as a CNA
Special Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and writing; clearly concisely and accurately
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to operate common office equipment including computers
Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures
Pay Range
$23.00 - $27.01 /hour
