Catholic Health Initiatives Drug Pricing Program Coordinator in Bryan, Texas
Overview
Under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates purchasing of drugs under the 340B pricing program with the Pharmacy Buyer. Maintains the mandatory auditing of all process related to 340B purchases including Regional Hospital, Critical Access Hospitals, Clinics, Retail Pharmacy, and Contract pharmacies. Maintains all databases, split billing software, Meditech, and Automated Dispensing Machine dictionaries, with respect to pricing and NDC numbers. Responsible for all billing and any other duty as assigned.

Responsibilities
Accountable agent for 340B compliance
Day-to-day manager of the 340B program
Responsible for maintenance and testing of split billing software
Responsible for documentation of 340B policies and procedures
Maintains system databases to reflect changes in the drug formulary or product specifications
Coordinates purchasing, receiving, and inventory control processes with Pharmacy Buyer
Collaborate with Pharmacy Buyer to continuously monitor product minimum/maximum levels to effectively balance product availability and cost-efficient inventory control
Ensures appropriate safeguards and system integrity
Performs bi-annual inventory and monthly cycle counts
Ensures compliance with 340B program requirements for qualified patients, drugs, providers, vendors, payers, and locations
Reviews and refines 340B cost savings report, detailing purchasing, and replacement practices as well as dispensing patterns
Monitors ordering processes, integrating most current pricing from wholesaler, and analyzes invoices, shipping, and inventory processes
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacy Technician. Nationally certified as Pharmacy Technician per Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Sterile Compounding Certification. ACPE Nationally Certified .
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
- Medication automation duties involving maintaining of patient accounts, resolving medical discrepancies and providing nurse access .
Pay Range
$21.23 - $29.20 /hour
