Responsibilities

Position Summary:

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values the Physical Therapist II is responsible for providing physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients. Provides training and/or supervision to staff physical therapy assistants and therapy aides.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital Based: minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

  • Homecare Based: minimum of 3 years of experience required.

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.

  • Current California license in Physical Therapy

  • Current CPR

  • Must have California driver's license with clean driving record with proof of liability insurance for automobile.

  • Evidence of ability to function with a high degree of independence and competence. Manages audits feedback on evalutions and precepts.

Special Skills:

  • Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with fellow staff members physicians hospital departments and the general public.

  • Demonstrates competent working knowledge of the standard practices procedures and equipment utilized in the department.

  • Ability and willingness to actively participate in departmental and hospital programs.

  • Demonstrates self-motivation and ability to acheive results through good organization skills and prioritization of work.

  • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team orientated enviroment.

  • Ability to mentor and coach student interns or oversee their clinical experience.

  • Ability to be flexible with caseload within any given day as needed for the benfit of the department.

  • Promotes PT services in the community as appropriate.

Pay Range

$44.73 - $64.85 /hour
