CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities

Job Summary / Purpose

Provides technical expertise in Diagnostic Radiographic procedures. Works under the direction of a registered radiology technologist.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • Successfully performs clinical procedures while working under the supervision of a registered technologist

  • Follows established radiation safety protocols for patient and staff

  • Demonstrates professional practice standards

  • Provides appropriate patient care for all Radiology patient needs

  • Assists with the department standards for Radiology equipment

  • Other Duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

Graduate of an approved radiology school program of Radiologic technology. Must meet school of radiology program competencies for all routine radiographic procedures and specialty work.

Required Licensure and Certifications

Certification: Basic Life Support Certification (CPR- Healthcare Provider) within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.

Licensure: Pursuing registry through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and temp ND state licensure.

Pay Range

$20.63 - $20.63 /hour
